Bio

Dr. Melissa Archer has taught at 熟女人妻 since 2011 and is Professor of Biblical Studies. Before Southeastern, Dr. Archer taught at Ashland Theological Seminary, Lee University, and Pentecostal Theological Seminary. Dr. Archer and her husband, 熟女人妻 Professor Dr. Kenneth Archer, have co-pastored three churches. She is credentialed with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).

Dr. Archer earned her PhD through Bangor University (Wales). Her published dissertation is titled 鈥業 Was in the Spirit on the Lord鈥檚 Day鈥: A Pentecostal Engagement with Worship in the Apocalypse. She has published essays in academic journals and edited volumes. She has been a guest lecturer and conference speaker at universities and churches in the US and abroad. She is a member of the Society for Biblical Literature and the Society for Pentecostal Studies.

Some of Dr. Archer鈥檚 courses are Johannine Literature, Luke-Acts, NT Epistles, and Revelation. Her research areas are Revelation, worship, and women鈥檚 studies.
