Request Your Housing, Meal Plan & Parking

Once you complete step 5 of the admission process, be sure to submit your housing application. Housing applications are required for all traditional, undergraduate students whether or not you are living on campus. Contact studenthousing@seu.edu with any questions.

Housing applications are required for all traditional, undergraduate students whether or not you are living on campus.

Complete the housing application under the Housing tab in . The application will ask you to:

  • Verify your information
  • Let us know if you’re an ÊìÅ®ÈËÆÞ Athlete or Student Leader
  • Let us know if you’re applying for campus housing or planning to commute. (If you plan to commute, it will ask you to verify which requirement you meet for living off-campus.)
  • Complete your emergency contact information
  • Answer some questions related to housing preferences
  • Give you the opportunity to review and acknowledgeÌýour housing policies
  • Choose your meal plan (if applicable)

If you’re a returning student, be sure to follow the procedures provided by your resident director regarding your housing plans for the next school year.

Housing PoliciesÌý

ÊìÅ®ÈËÆÞ has a 4 year residency requirement.Ìý We recognize that a student should be considered for exemption under specific circumstances. Approved reasons for consideration for an exemption from the residency requirement are:

  • To beÌýat least 23Ìýyears old prior to the semester you are requesting to live off campus.
  • To be a part-time student (less than 12 credit hours)
  • To be married or have custodial children
  • The student lives with their parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or sibling in their primary residence.Ìý (Students must physically live with their relative, not in a house owned or leased by them, and documentation will be required)

In the event of max capacity for on-campus housing, Student Development will work to provide exemptions to those deemed necessary.

Roommate Requests/Matching

  • To get matched with a roommate, once you complete your housing application, check your ÊìÅ®ÈËÆÞ email for a link with instructions on getting started with My College Roomie, our roommate matching system. (This email may take up to 24 hours to arrive.)
  • My College Roomie will allow you to select 1 roommate. If you have additional roommates/suite mates in mind, email us at studenthousing@seu.edu and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • A few weeks before the semester begins, move-in appointments will become available for students who are Fire Ready. Watch your ÊìÅ®ÈËÆÞ email for updates.

View or Change Your Meal Plan

  • Residential students are required to be on a meal plan. You will select your plan on the housing application.
  • If you would like to change your meal plan, please visit the housing tab on Ìýto complete the Residential Meal Plan Form.

Parking

  • If you will be parking a car on campus, submit a . (ÊìÅ®ÈËÆÞ login required.)
  • Remember to display your parking decal at all times.
